If you search from the address bar in IE9 on Windows 7 Ultimate with Charter as your ISP, your search that should be going to Bing is getting 302’d to Charter (WTF!).  Stop it!  D/L’d Charles (awesome!  Thanks Tony) and saw that the search string headin’ out to Bing was ‘http://www.bing.com/search?q=dogs&src=ie9tr’.  If you remove the ‘&src=ie9tr’ (or just change it) it doesn’t redirect to Charter.  To change this behavior, open RegEdit and navigate to:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchScopes\{0633EE93-D776-472f-A0FF-E1416B8B2E3A}]

Change the key ‘TopResultURLFallback’ so that resembles,

http://www.bing.com/search?q={searchTerms}

Close and open IE and your address bar fixes now go to Bing.
